Heinz Bartosch appointed CEO of BBS
Effective 5th December 2016, Heinz Bartosch has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of BBS GmbH, taking over the position held for many years by Jürgen Lohmann. As CEO, Heinz Bartosch is responsible for day-to-day operations, as well as research, development and sales at BBS. Tobias Schleicher, the former Managing Director, now serves as Chief Financial Officer. “I am extremely happy with my appointment as CEO of BBS,” said Heinz Bartosch.  “I will see to it that the company continues to innovate and create ground breaking products that keep the needs of our customers in mind. At the same time the BBS traditions of high quality and efficiency will remain core values of our brand.” Having held senior management positions at MAN Commercial Vehicles and Uniwheels (United Wheels Group), Heinz Bartosch comes to BBS with a long and successful track record in the automotive and alloy wheel industries. “We cannot change the wind, but the sails are different,” said the married father of two, quoting the Greek philosopher Aristotle (384-322 BC) with reference to his new responsibilities.
